I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Art in Action 2012 at Waterperry House and Gardens. It is a fantastic scene with a truly creative vibe and bags of artistic energy.

Here are some snippets of what was on show:

Art in Action 2012

My highlight this year was seeing the letter carving in stone. Beautiful, tactile and inspiring works. It was great to meet some of the people behind the art. Alan Thewlis, thank you for giving up your time to share your work (bottom left).

More inspirational works by Paul Antonio, Scribe and Calligrapher (top left), Laura Boswell, printmaker (top right) and many sketchbooks on display by painters including Ali Yanya.

Colour, colour and more colour. I loved the Woven textiles by Alpa Mistry (shown left).

See you next year Art in Action…
